Second Screening of Julia X 3D

We're happy to say that our second screening of Julia X here at Fantastic Fest was also sold out! 

The crowd laughed, moaned, and covered their eyes at the "crazy meets crazy meets crazier" cast of the film.

Kevin Sorbo, our "stranger" was in attendance along with our director P.J. Pettiette, one of our producers Claudie Viguerie, and stereographer/ DP Jason Goodman.

Kevin took time to meet a self proclaimed "life long" fan!

The crowd was eager to get their seats for the sold out showing!

We had a lot of fun today with the second screening and the press junket afterwards.  

Thank you to all of the press and fans for being such a wonderful audience and thank you Fantastic Fest 2011 for being such wonderful hosts!

Meet & Greet with Kevin Sorbo!

Here's a clip from last nights skype meet & greet with our "stranger" Kevin Sorbo! 

Kevin was feeling a little under the weather, but we're so thankful he was able to skype with us from his home!  

He arrived in Austin safely this morning, and we just finished the second and final screening of Julia X 3D at Fantastic Fest! 

Kevin was (of course) met with warm reception from the fans and workers here at the Fest!

Meet and Greet at the HighBall!

We just had a great meet and greet with Kevin Sorbo via skype at the HighBall which has been a great asset to Fantastic Fest! 

Kevin, who has been a little under the weather, wasn't able to make it to Austin today, but is eager to get here tomorrow morning for the 12:15 screening of Julia X 3D!

The audience was filled with press and fans.  Some who have seen the film and some who are anxious to see it tomorrow, but all who had questions for Mr. Sorbo our resident "stranger".

Julia X 3D Premiere (9/25)

Stereographer  Jason Goodman, Director P.J. Pettiette, and Producer Claudie Viguerie at the North American Premiere of Julia X 3D.  We were so excited to be able to premiere at Fantastic Fest in Austin TX.  Our 11:30pm premiere was met by great reception from the audience!

Julia X 3D is proud to announce that our North American premiere at Fantastic Fest was AWESOME!! 

The Alamo Drafthouse (where FF2011is being held) is probably the coolest movie theatre ever.

As you're enjoying the great horror/thriller movies at the festival, The Alamo Drafthouse provides amazing food and (our favorite) DRINKS! 

We want to send a quick "thank you" to everyone who made our North American premiere go so smoothly! 

But wait, we're not done yet!

Tomorrow we'll be having our very own Kevin Sorbo here at the festival for our second screening! 

Can't wait!

Synopsis:

Two sisters devise a wicked game of cat and mouse after one is abducted on a blind Internet date gone bad.

Julia (Valerie Azlynn), on her third Internet date meets a man, The Stranger. As she leaves, she is abducted by "The Stranger" (Kevin Sorbo) and branded with an X. After a cat and mouse game through iconic thriller locations in 3D (e.g. bayous, abandoned school, deteriorating houses), she eventually subdues The Stranger. We discover that Julia and her sister, Jessica (Alicia Leigh Willis), are Internet predators and have never captured a predator before. They bring him back to their house for games of torture and mayhem while also luring other men in for the kill (Joel David Moore and Ving Rhames). We learn the girls past and Jessica's true vicious and jealous nature, which ultimately leads to a violent, tragic, and oddly ironic funny end.  A modern day "Godzilla" and "King Kong" story.
